I have designed my Presentation on Canva.com this is a great website for posters, presentations and leaflets.

My presentation comprises of 6 slides, I plan to talk about each one for roughly 2 minutes. I want to attempt to present unprompted as this is good professional practice and I have always struggled with talking about my work. I feel over the course of the degree I have become more confident and am finally ready to attempt this. The slides are fairly self explanatory and therefore will prompt me with what to talk about. I first will briefly discuss my first year at NUA where I was interested in the human body. I didn't like the way my work was always judged as feminist so wanted to find a way to move away from this. In year two I began to work a lot more abstractly, still focusing on representing the human body. I found this a lot better than first year but I still had not found my true practice. Finally in year three I became a fully abstract painter. All reference to the body or anything figurative has gone. Relate back to artists such as pollock and klein, my work is completely about the process of its creation. I try to express process in the outcome of my work, but the main theme is to explore paint through painting.

My presentation is not until February so I still have a few more weeks to finalise everything, but I feel pretty ready.
